Something interesting I found, Sony was similar in size to Kadokawa in market cap until 2016, around the launch of the Piss4, the headquarters change, and the beginning of the grand pozzing. Which is completely disproportionate to the impact Sony actually has on global affairs, considering the company was going red in pretty much every aspect. I tried seeing if perhaps healthcare or Sony Bank or image sensors or even Sony Music (it IS tempting as Sony Music is the largest catalog in the world) could explain why it's almost as large as Disney, but no, nothing. It's entirely dependent on muh entertainment which has been flagging for years. The cap really seems to be based on <YAS KWEEN THE NIPS BENT DA KNEE TO GLOBOHOMO despite the actual fundamentals proving otherwise. In that case, it would be disastrous as Sony's valuation is a sham and a bubble waiting to pop.
