no (you)s for you, its retarded price for everyone
>>1059466 Overpriced for every normal person. If someone tells you otherwise are stupid
>>1059543 Overpriced for normal people but normal people aren't their market either.
>>1059466 We literally are. We're their only actual market. It's just that we refuse to buy their shit when there's no reason to do so since there's nothing to play on it.
>>1059567 Sadly the GPU market won't crash like the AAA market since there's so much AI investor money, which is pretty much what the entire presentation was for.
>>1059567 >We're their only actual market You're tone deaf, Nvidia and AMD are now AI companies.
>>1059656 >You lived to see AMD become Jewish and Intel become the promising GPU company
>>1059658 Intel is in dire straights, we'll have to see if they're able to bounce back. But yeah, until this AI meme blows over, you won't see much progress in the GPU space. Just shit software
Is the rtx 50 series a win for GCtard? With global DLSS4 as an option, most games are now optimized with the performance and ultra appearance the devs intended, capable of running on low end gpus at over 60 fps. When the next generation of gpus comes out you can probably build a pc for under $600 using used parts, not much higher than consoles of the golden era do today.
>>1059656 Good for them. Maybe they should stop selling consumer graphics cards at all, then. Or maybe you're wrong.

>>1059567 Copium is strong. Reddit is nvidia's market, how else will they play their heckin' Indiana Jones game and collect funko pops as their bull rapes their little sister?
>>1059671 My point is that consumer grade GPUs aren't their main bread and butter anymore dumbshit. It's AI systems for several other big company businesses.
(1.97 MB 360x640 Minecraft.mp4)

>>1059660 >Just shit software What? You don't want to play Minecraft that is 100% generated by AI? Yes, there is also a DOOM version
>>1059567 >>1059675 Nvidia's market are AI companies now, gamers could stop buying from them entirely and that probably wouldn't make much of a dent in their revenue. This is also why Jensen hypes up AI shit so much, if that bubble ever busts his company is in for rough times. They'd survive, but after brutal layoffs and downsizing. Arguably, AMD is actually in a safer long-term position despite their EBIT being barely 1% of Nvidia's.
>>1059683 >instantaneous self-gaslighting, the video game That's basically what it's like to live with memory loss.
>>1059683 The Doom one came first and is infinitely more coherent and impressive. AI Minecraft was done by some fucking techbros who had no idea what they were doing and the results look like it, they were trying to market it as "BROO WE CRATED A BRAND NEW GAME USING ONLY AI" when it's just dementia Minecraft.
>>1059683 >Joe Biden Vision
>>1059695 My problem with the DOOM one, is that I can't find a way to test it for myself, and every article or jewtuber commenting on it, just use the same video you posted, which for all I know was edited to not look as bad as the Minecraft one(which you can actually try it for yourself). With that said, it does seem to have a better "object permanence" system, than the Minecraft one.
>>1059683 Demntiacraft
>>1059683 Minezheimers
>>1059466 >>1059564 You're correct and anons should understand both Red & Green are shilling for AI for big corpos. Gamers and even high end creators ( 3D graphics, simulation, video creation) are being told to fuck off.

>>1059965 I wish mike matei's 9" dickaxe mined directly against my prostate and deep into my colon
Please suggest me a half-decent pair of £150-300 headphones, mine are falling to pieces.
>>1061419 pic related. I can't recommend any further without knowing what music you listen to; M50x are the go-to you don't need anything more than this. Unless you're audiophile level, in which you should already know which headphones you want. >£150-300 headphone ok rich brigger
I know anons don't generally keep up with laptops but would anyone happen to off-hand have an idea of what to look for that's very thin, lightweight, with a roughly 13" screen while also being as cheap as possible? I'm looking for a laptop for travel that I won't care very much if it happens to get damaged or lost. The last time I got a laptop it was a used t420s but it's incredibly slow these days with the modern niggerscript internet, and not as small as I'd like. I was looking at Microsoft Surface laptops and they seem decent on paper, but they are a pain to get linux working on properly, though it does seem possible with a custom kernel if you get the right model. There's a flood of dirt cheap chromebooks on the market that might fit the bill but I think the bootloader is severely locked down on those so I'm not confident in being able to install ARM linux on them.
>>1062120 A refurbished framework is $500 I think, otherwise just hop on ebay. Surface laptops are a bitch to repair, modern lenovo thinkpads aren't terrible since everything is kind of made cheap now, but you do still have soldered ram to deal with.
>>1061419 Anything Beyerdynamic, but especially >TYGR 300R >DT 900 PRO X >>1062120 Find something with an intel N95/N97/N100 There's a few for under $250 and that CPU is quite enough for work / wank / emulation
>>1061419 I have HIFIMAN Sundara planar magnetic headphones. Sound great with a balanced cable, but DAC plays a large role. Got multiple FiiO BTR5 DACs & they make my cheaper headphones sound better too. Without a decent DAC pricey headphones are a waste I can tell you that.
>>1062180 I think the display died on my btr5 sadly, still works from app control.
>>1062180 >Without a decent DAC pricey headphones are a waste I can tell you that. It really really depends, some high end stuff is rather source agnostic (Denon AH-D7200 for example), some rather cheap stuff needs proper sources to sound decent (Beyerdynamic anything pretty much).
>>1062120 Look into a used System76 laptop, they have coreboot flashed by default
>>1062182 I've had mine for years & the displays work on both. One of them made a ringing noise the other day that I never heard it do before, but it stopped once I disconnected & reconnected it. Hopefully, it's not screwing up. >>1062185 I still think you notice a difference from standard motherboard audio. Not talking strictly about impedance.
>>1062185 mostly depends on ohms
